Job Title: Asia Factory Quality Engineer

Report to: Factory Quality Manager

Location: Shenzhen

Job Purpose:

· This position will be based in Company’s Contract Manufacturer facility in Shenzhen, China. This position is for a key member of Company Technologies China team. Strong skills in speaking, understanding, reading, writing English (Mandarin) are absolutely essential.

Responsibilities:

· Factory Quality Responsibilities

· Support 8D problem solving activities

· Support Six Sigma projects

· ECO support

· QBR support

· Develops and implements documentation, processes and tools in accordance with the Quality Plan and monitor execution of the work against quality targets

· Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specification and make or order necessary process or assemble adjustment’s

· Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions

· Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specification

Job Requirements:

· Experience working with Contract Manufacturer and dealing with foreign Companies

· Minimum 5 years Quality Engineering and/or Quality Management experience

· Experience using traditional quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, 8D, etc.

· Must be an excellent communicator, able to talk to and build relationships with people at all levels. ?

· Must be willing to travel, often at short notice, within China to support Company business need

· Must have a strong customer focus and a desire to drive product improvements and increase customer satisfaction
