Key Result Areas:
Application Localization
- Acquire updated information of new application through cooperating & communicating with German technical center
- Execute " copy-paste " model to find more leads and opportunities in the relevant markets
- Localize the new applications into Chinese through Automotive Nitriding sales pipeline
Product Development
- Get to know the necessary information of sampling tests, such as drawing, specification, material, machining, pre-heat treatment, quantity, quality report, delivery time, etc.
- Design, purchase, check and accept the necessary tooling used for new projects with the help or advice from production.
- Analyze and make proper testing process and parameters, coordinate with production line to arrange the sampling tests.
- Track and monitor each process, such as goods receiving, incoming inspection, sample testing plan, charging, cleaning, loading, treatment, quality inspection, post treatment, packing and delivery.
- Analyze and summarize the test results, discuss with customer and make improvement or solution for next tests if necessary.
Engineering development
- Find and solve current technical issues whatever from sampling tests or mass production. Work with sampling engineer, quality and operation departments, organize meetings to find solutions.
- Enhance engineering capability via theory study, consultants and German support. Be able to face big technical challenges and try to solve them.
Project management support
- Technical agreement review and discussion within team and with customer.
- APQP meeting and documents preparation.
- Support sales to promote the project, update the project schedule.
- Attend meeting with sales, production line and quality department to transfer the tooling, documents of new projects to mass production.
- Help production line and quality department to resolve the problems in mass production.
- Prepare work instruction documents and PPAP documents.
Sales & Marketing support
Support sales to analyze the drawing and customer requirements to provide necessary information
for quotation.
Communicate with customers to get to know more information about business information and
feedback to sales.
Coordinate with production line and quality department to analyze the feasibility of treatment.
Support sales, production and quality department to deal with customer audit, customer complaint.
Support market activities like tradeshow, conference, customer event etc
Requirements:
- University degree in material engineering, mechanics or heat treatment or vehicle engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in heat treatment or mechanics or metallic material processing or components industry.
- Strong technical background & ability are a must.
- Good knowledge of metallic material.
- Skills of project management are required.
- Customer oriented, good communication skills
- Heat treatment working experience would be preferred.
- Being familiar with automotive industry is a plus.
- Be familiar with manufacturing process and be able to understand mechanical drawings
- Fluent in English, written is a must and verbal is a plus.
- Good personal communication & negotiation skills.
- Good presentation skills
- Quick learning and team spirit.
- Good knowledge of PC-work (MS-Office, AutoCAD.)
- Willing to work under pressure.
