- For our Energy Sector in Shanghai we are looking for a Head of Business Excellence for our Asia-Pacific HQ of Energy Service Division at the earliest opportunity.
- The SIEMENS Energy Service division provides maintenance services for turbines, generators, compressors and other power generation equipment. With more than 13,000 employees worldwide we deliver outstanding service solutions to our customers to help them improve their operating plant competitiveness and profitability.
What are my responsibilities?
- Represent "Business Excellence" in the region Asia-Pacific towards top management and headquarters in USA and Germany
- Define quality ensuring measures in the region Asia-Pacific
- Define synergy measures in the region Asia-Pacific
- Define other improvement measures in the region Asia-Pacific
- Track the implementation of defined measures and verify their effectiveness (e.g. regarding NCC, customer satisfaction)
- Map and analyze existing business processes in Asia-Pacific
- Develop Lean Practitioner and 6Sigma Black/Green Belts for doing continuous improvement projects in region Asia-Pacific
- Trigger internal audits and act as a contact for external audits in the region Asia-Pacific
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Your knowledge / skills:
- Power Generation industry knowledge
- LEAN / 6Sigma approach and tools
- Presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills
- English language
- Basic financial and commercial knowledge
Your experience:
- At least 5 years experience in power generation industry, and/or
- At least 5 years experience in quality management
- First experience in a management position
- Working experience in foreign companies
- Collaboration with international teams
- Your education: Master or above
- Your English: Fluent speaking (negotiation level)
