Responsibility:
Support the sales process, providing preliminary information to prospective contacts/leads and referral customers.
Prepare cost proposals of services for clients, using applicable questionnaires & worksheets.
Send proposals to clients & conduct follow-up calls to provide further information, answer questions and document these activities for further follow-up. Assist as needed with the operations group in opening an application file and completing documentation necessary for accepted proposals.
Develop sales leads through cold calling, internet research, tradeshow leads, trade magazines and other suitable resources. Manage the sales process by promptly responding to all inquiries as necessary to present information regarding CSA services.
Maintain accurate & complete client files, including the input of new/existing client information into the shared sales database. Determine the required information needed to complete the file. Develop ongoing business relationships and networks with clients.
Establish and maintain a list of preferred contacts based on reputation, influence and personal judgment.
Manage the relationships with clients, determine client needs and expectations and relate necessary information to commercial and operations groups to maintain customer satisfaction.
Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to provide administrative and coordination sales support for tradeshow lead follow up schedule.
Support pre-Trade Show activities for CSA Group Testing and Certification services to confirm customers participating at Trade Show, provide client contact information, prospecting details.
Work in conjunction with the Marketing team to coordinate and execute broad based and targeted mailings to prospective clients for lead generation. Research mailing lists for target audiences. Assist in preparation of direct marketing materials. Maintain input of new/existing client information into the sales database. Conduct competitive research on clients & prospects.
Gather competitive information on clients & prospects including tradeshow participation to make recommendations on where CSA Group should strategically position ourselves in the marketplace.
Provide information and input into the Commercial Unit to assist with the establishment of new opportunities and areas of focus for CSA Group TIC services.
Provide management support in weekly, monthly and annual sales reports and forecasts.
Perform additional tasks and/or special project work as required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years Industrial Sales or Marketing experience and Customer service focused within the Battery and Energy Storage market sector.
Skills:
Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database applications. (SAP, CRIS, CRM)
Excellent verbal & written English communication skills.
Excellent phone and customer service skills.
Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
Able to maintain positive contacts within all levels of the organization to exchange explain and interpret information or ideas and follow-up on client requests.
