Major Responbility:

1. Implement new poduction
processes into a high volume production environment

a. Track and analyze new processes in order to determine technical and commercial feasibility

b. Introduce new production processes into large-scale production, considering new technologies and materials. Include research results in collaboration
with internal and external research centers.

c. Perform cost comparisons of new processes, taking into account future requirements, strategic business objectives, technological developments, technical options, production capacity issues, and other organizational conditions. Collaborate with production planning.

d. Works closely with the Product Engineering to insure that new products are designed for assembly.

2. Design and manage the fabrication of assembly fixturing

a. Design or provide design concept of required fixture for auotomatic assembly line.

b. Develop equipment standard such as materials, components, surface treatment…

c. Use any necessary sensing and automation integration techniques to develop and implement manufacturing assembly fixtures that ensure a mistake proof process at a cost effective price.

d. Work with external vendors as necessary to accomplish this.

3. Develop and Manage relationships with external vendors

a. Ensure that vendors are awarded work that they are fully capable of performing. Develop vendors with strong potential by awarding challenging projects to them.

b. Work with vendors on various projects, ensuring good communication, and meeting cost, schedule, and quality targets on all projects.

4. Facilitate knowledge transfer about all aspects of production processes to plant

Required Experience:

1. Five or more years experience of automatic or semi-automatic manufacturing process.

2. Experience in launching new products, be familiar with new project development procedure.

3. Experience in designing or managing new equipment development.

4. Experience in debug and buyoff procedure.

5. Knowledge on EHS, ergonomic.

6. Understand lean manufacturing and experience in designing lean equipment.

7. Understand electrical and pneumatic shematic.

8. Knoledge in various sensors, electrical and pneumatic components

9. Autocad/UG 3D/ Solid Works((any in List) mechanical drawing system

10. Machine Cpk capability analysis experience required.

11. Knowledge of quick changeover methods and practices.

12. Knowledge of PLC and PC machine control.
