Mission of Function:
- Be responsible for detailed analysis and design, development, unit test and maintenance of product software.

Dimensions of Function:
- Functional specifications development; Implement the design; Create documentation according to R&D processes;

Contacts(internal /external):

- Report to software and test manager.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:
- Analyze and specify SW Product Requirements
- Design drivers and interface between the application software and hardware modules for control, image processing and supervising
- Software project responsibility, interface with internal customers to resolve components and system interface issues
- Be responsible for design, implementation, documentation, integration and trouble shooting of the SW with high quality.
- Diagnostic SW for HW components
- Maintain existing software products Competencies Techniques (Technologies / Methodologies / Professional Knowledge)
- Technologies: SW Architecture Design
- Technologies: RTOS Concept and Knowledge
- Technologies: Embedded software (Embedded C & C++)
- Technologies: PC software (VC, VB, etc)

Essential (today and in future):
- Professional Variety of Business:
1.Bachelor or above, majored in Electronic Engineering or computer science
2.Minimum 2 years in embedded software design and development
3.Experience with embedded software development; experienced in using C++/WIN32/MF is plus
4.Experience with CAN, CANOPEN, Serial interface, USB, PCI is a further plus
5.OO Analysis / Design skills and Windows application level programming experience (VB, VC, etc);
6.Knowledge of configuration management tools ( e.g.clear case, SVN or CVS )
7.Good knowledge and a good overview of the tools and techniques used in embedded software development
- Project / Process Variety of Function Areas: Advanced level
- Leadership Variety of Function Types: Advanced level
- Intercultural Variety of Cultures: International orientation, experience with internaltional employers and customers; capabilities to operate in foreign cultures preferred.
