Account Manager, Optical Glass
Your profile:
· Master/Bachelor degree in Optics, Optoelectronics, or related Engineering field, additional qualification in economics or equivalent practical experience
· At least 3 years experiences in Technical Sales and/or Management, in selling/engineering of technical products in a multinational company
· Good knowledge of optoelectronics, optical materials and components and their properties and performance are a strong plus
· Ability to work in an intercultural environment and effectively build up cross national and functional teams
· Positive working attitude, proactive, highly self-motivated and independent, a team player
· Good customer relationship management
· Good negotiation skill
· Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese
· Good Microsoft office tool working skill
Your tasks:
- Sales
· Achieves planned KPIs for all products sold domestically and international to the customers assigned
· Acquires incoming orders, turnover, and standard gross margin for all products sold domestically and internationally to the
Customers assigned
· Elaborates monthly rolling forecast and performance report including deviation analysis and action plan for the Cus-tomers
assigned
- Customer
· Plans, directs, and coordinates customer strategy and activities for the related products
· Sets up customer visitation schedules, executing visits/interactions especially with key decision makers
· Supports KAM and PM as active part of cross functional team with their associated initiatives
· Performs quotation reviews, negotiations, and contracting with customers
· Improves the overall customer satisfaction
- New Business/Market Intelligence
· Elaborates new sales potentials and related products considering the highest possible value creation for SCHOTT
· Searches for new potential products and projects, initiates R&D cooperation with customers, and involves internal organization
· Promotes AOO products, new developments, performance, and competences in order to generate new, respectively extended business opportunities
· Defines needs of market studies for specific markets in close cooperation with relevant departments within AOO
- Planning/Strategy/Reporting
· Carries out regular account planning and reviews monthly performance of account action plan
· Plans annual accounts for the associated products by region and site, reviews customer segmentation versus criteria
· Establishes pricing policies for each of the associated products and leads the development of the necessary price calculation schemes
- Miscellaneous
· Cooperates with Marketing to visit the most relevant fairs, trade shows and presence in appropriate literature and ad-vertising program for associated products
· Works with the Product Managers and Marketing to insure the successful dissemination of this information

Your profile:
