KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the Global Sourcing Team in their daily work covering following areas:
? Manage daily correspondence.
? Communicate with merchants, regional offices, suppliers, quality department, product development & design, merchandise planning and allocation.
? Handling samples.
? Building up and maintaining a filing system.
? Process data, develop and analyze reports.
? Consolidate, prepare and compare open costing sheets.
? Prepare and update product specific price benchmarks of suppliers globally.
? Update and control production capacity in liaison with local sourcing.
? Prepare meetings and presentations.
? Management of existing suppliers and the on-boarding of potential new suppliers.
? Administration and organization of meetings, calendars, workshops and sourcing trips.
? Travel management, trip and itinerary planning and expense management.
? Allocation of suppliers and country of origin under guidance of (UL) GSM in line plan.
? Prepare and work together with (UL) GSM on seasonal target setting file and seasonal sourcing plan for assigned categories.
? Analyze and update the vendor matrix for assigned categories under guidance of (UL)GSM.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
? 3 year’s work experience in the area of category management, sourcing, buying or procurement
? Relevant bachelor degree in a commercial or economic orientation
