Position Summary

The Master Production Scheduler plays a key role in planning & executing the “Plant” and /or Contract Packers Master production schedule (Finish Goods). This role will remain customer focus and inventory balancing goals.

Accountabilities

Responsible to receive/ process inter-plant orders; manages exception messages ; plans, creates appropriate transactions to flow the requirements to co-packers and 3rd party purchase. Will be responsible for Master Production Scheduling at product level.
Coordinate with source locations on product availability and communicate with Deployment/Supply Planners on product availability/delivery schedules. Liase with shipping function as needed.
Establish and execute Stock transfer orders for affiliate replenishment and Purcahse orders with 3rd party sourced products.
Mitigate constrains/request with the objective of meeting on time delivery with the necessary support functions.
Responsible to develop and publish data to support S&OP plan for both local and regional review.
Will be required to manage supply, which includes, allocating FG to customers orders, planning inventory to forecast , daily/weekly review process in place to track forecast versus actual sales order status, including SLOBS management.
Responsible to support process for new product cretaions. Cordinates with plant finite schedulers to manage new product cycle plan and product phase in, phase out schedules.
Validates and maintains integrity of information flow from ERP to the planning systems, maintains planning parameters.(vis versa).
Supports inventory goals, track and publish performance, while balancing the organizations inventory and delivery objectives.
Will be responsible to initiate / support activities to continuously improve the business process, including regional projects.

Required Skills and Experience

At least Three (3) years of working experience in planning or analytical function.
Degree in related field.
Experience working in portable lighting related product is preferred.
Meticulous and independent worker
Experience in working in a cross functional multinational environment.
Analytical and meticulous individual.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to speak English and Mandarin to communicate with English and Mandarin speaking stakeholders and vendors.
