职位描述：
We are looking for a highly motivated creative and passionate individual with the ability to exceed expectations to become part of our team in Shanghai. The Executive Chef will be responsible for kitchen operations including seasonal menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, inventory control, training of culinary staff and engaging in preparing and cooking foods to ensure an efficient memorable and profitable food service. And of course, we are offering a very competitive salary.

Job responsibilities:

? Be inspirational to all team members
? Develop and standardize recipes
? Maintain safety and sanitation in the kitchen, maintain equipment
? Design food presentation aesthetics
? Looking for appropriate kitchen operational solutions in creative ways
? Maintain communications with Corporate Staff
? Coach and counsel employees to reflect a high Service Standards and Procedures
? Experience training food prep employees
? Teach employees the importance of consistency in preparation and presentation
? Thorough knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
? Ensure that level of quality, portion control, and plate presentation is adhered to consistently
? Kitchen cost and inventory control


Qualifications:

? Has passion and creativity in food and cooking techniques and presentation
? Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English or Chinese
   (be able to communicate with staff with language barriers when staff only speak Chinese)
? Willing to try adventures in Shanghai
? Break traditional rules
? At least 3-year experience in a professional culinary environment
? Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
? Be able to work under pressure and be flexible about work time
? Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
? Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
? Proven leadership skills
? Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
