Job Function: IT and Network Maintenance and Management
Industry: Trading and/or Import and Export
Scope: reports to the CFO – Asia Operations, manages and provides hardware and software, network, server and Erp systems maintenance.
Requirements and qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or Information Technology
? Knowledge of programming languages and tools: Java Standard Edition, PHP 5, Code Igniter, Advanced SQL, MySQL/MariaDB , Javascript, JQuery, Ajax / JSon, Apache Web Server - Virtual Hosting, HTML5, CSS2/3, XML CSV
? Knowledge of database and Erp system management
? Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems and programs
? Knowledge of computer networks, network administration and network installation
? Proficient in email, internet, social media./communication programs
? Written and spoken fluency in English
? With four to five years of experience in trading or import and export industry
? Ability to perform variety of tasks
? Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate on all levels with senior management and general staff members both orally and in writing.
Roles and responsibilities:
? Design, test and implement database and Erp systems
? Manage information technology and computer systems
? Manage email, internet and social media/communication programs
? Manage and ensure performance of internal database and ERP systems
? Troubleshoot/resolve hardware, software, network operating systems, server, database and Erp systems issues
? Install new software releases and system upgrades, evaluate and install patches
? Provide technical support
? Monitor and oversee security and protection of all systems
? Train new staff on systems
? Suggest IT solutions to business problems
? General oversight of IT infrastructure, planning and installation and operation 举报 分享

Fownes Brothers established manufacturing facilities in Gloversville and Amsterdam, N.Y. in 1903. In the late 1950’s manufacturing shifted from the US and the Caribbean basin, to the Far East. First came the Philippines in 1959, then Southern China in 1984.
Both facilities are still in operation to this day.
With a growing international business, Fownes established an office in Shanghai in 2002 to address the needs of its global customers. In addition to offering comprehensive sales, merchandising and design services, the Shanghai office coordinates sourcing, quality control, quality assurance, product development, and production logistics for all Asian operations.
