RETAIL/ INTERIOR DESIGNER

As part of our branding and design services Orange Branding is looking for a retail designer that CREATES and DELIVERS complete design solutions for our own brand and our clients. This position will become a management function in the future as part of the Design Directors team.

MAIN TASKS

1. Conduct retail analysis, merchandise, support with client intakes, and develop clear design briefings with the client;

2. Report clear design requirements (Eng or CN) in PPT for client and design team;

3. Provide art direction and mood boards to let the client understand the style direction;

4. Create 2D drawings for design concept impression;

5. Select materials and create material boards;

6. Provide floor plans, light plan and suggestions, wall section design;

7. Provide create and realistic retail fixture ideas based on price and brand requirements;

8. Write and make clear client pitches;

9. Design Client presentations;

10. Review and finalize all deliverables from client;

11 This role can grow into a design and business development role in the future as part of our growing retail services.

 

SKILLS

1. Min. 5 years interior or retail design experience, or proven track record;

2. Skilled in 2D (AI, PS, Indesign), 3D software (Rhino, 3D Max);

3. Excellent in communication by PPT and Word reports, and Excel for pricing and cost estimates;

4. Good in English and Mandarin;

5. Able to communicate well and present concepts and details.

 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Chinese / Cantonese;

2. From leading graphic design school or higher;

3. Experience in International working environment;

4. Excellent organisation skills / Document archiving;

5. Example of marketing projects or proven talents;

6. Open-minded and willing to explore new ideas;

7. Clear understanding of luxury and premium branding;

8. Vision and open-mind;

9. No 9-5 mentality;

10. Able to work in Pazhou;

11. Willing to travel.
