Position Description

Position Title: China GBS People Services Specialist
Report to: China GBS People Services Manager


I. Areas of Responsibility

On/Off-boarding
? Manage the whole process of on/off-boarding for local employees, expatriates and interns; ensure all required activities completed in time
? Coordinate with relevant functions to conduct effective new hire orientation
? Work with Global project team to optimize China’s on/off-boarding process
Learning Services
? Provide effective logistics support for all China learning sessions/programs
? Monitor learning systems and ensure employees’ learning records are updated timely
? Work with China Talent & Development team and regional Learning Services team to optimize learning services process
Employee Relations
? Serve as People Services Help Desk contact to address any employees’ enquiries on people services policies & processes
? Support local employees’ Shanghai Hukou / Shanghai local residence permit application
Other
? Work with HRBPs and Service Center to ensure all transactions are updated in Peoplesoft
? Other ad hoc tasks


II. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Competencies
? Bachelor’s degree or above; HR related major is preferred
? 5+ years of HR experience
? Strong character with integrity, honesty, and trust
? Customer Focus
? Drive for Results
? Attention to detail – able to produce reports, letters, etc. without mistake
? Comfortable in a fast-paced e***ironment
? Organization, prioritization and follow through skills
? Taking initiative and self - starter
? Strong interpersonal skills
? Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
