Job Description
The successful candidate will:
? Be responsible for on-going development and enhancement of the companies market leading software products
? Act as sub team-lead to provide technical guidance to junior members and deliver planned scope with good quality
? Provide technical support for issues arising from our software solutions
? Deliver quality code and complete structured documentation
? Work closely with specialist business analysts and develop solutions according to their specification and guidance
? Be prepared to visit customer sites to investigate issues and interact with customer staff
? Report regularly to the R&D Manager with status updates and progress towards specific development milestones
? Adhere to the company’s development processes and procedures
Qualifications and Skillset
Education:
? Bachelor degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related technology major
Essential:
? 5~8 years previous working experience in software development
? Thorough knowledge of development processes and practices, especially in Agile process
? Proven experience of analysis and design capability, and code quality management
? Able to lead junior level software engineer to deliver planned scope with good quality
? Good command of .Net development on B/S structure using C# and VB.NET language and good command of Visual Studio 2010 or above
? Proven experience in web development technologies Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML/XHTML/CSS
? Proven experience in database programming, especially using SQL Server/Oracle database.
? Good English communication skill
Desirable:
? Banking/Financial Systems experience, especially in regulatory reporting domain or anti money laundry systems
Personal qualifications:
? Good communication and interpersonal skills
? Process oriented mind-set
? Self-learner
? Team player
? Open to change and innovation
? Energetic and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
