Job Description:
Be an important member/leader of antibody generation team to develop highly specific and sensitive antibodies for various applications, including but not limited to Western blot, Flow cytometry, Bio-Plex, etc., using traditional hybridoma methodology and/or cutting edge antibody engineering technologies.
Plan, design, initiate, and execute workflow in antibody generation, with focus on efficiency improvement, scalable and automated process development;
Identify and address critical questions, provide technical leadership, direct and oversight for PrecisionAb antibody development team members;
Provide project management support in scheduling R&D activities, define project timelines, work plan and effort to ensure success; Participate and present technical results at internal and/or external scientific meetings;
Closely work with other teams within Bio-Rad Antibody Center to provide input and consultation to departmental planning for all antibody related activities.
Foster strong and collaborative partnerships with other Bio-Rad R&D teams in US, Germany and UK to develop antibodies or other related products;
Presenting and publishing the company’s scientific results internally and externally (e.g. SCI Journal)

Requirements:
PhD in biology, biochemistry, immunology, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years (after PhD) of relevant working experience is required;
Broad experience in hybridoma or display technologies is highly desired;
Familiar with antibody engineering would be a plus;
Knowledge of a full range of characterization of antibodies including epitope mapping, bioanalytical characterization, and immunogenicity analysis;
Ability to process and communicate complex scientific information through verbal discussion, presentation or in writing;
Team-working focus and excellent communications and inter-personal skills;
Great command in English, computer skills, well-organized, details-orientated, and self-motivated. 举报 分享
