Training and coaching personnel in Gentherm product development processes and tools
(such as Windchill, Jazz (Doors, Quality Manager), SCIO, Integrity)
？ Product development process adherence including auditing Gentherm product
development system and APQP processes
？ Driving and following up on open issues/actions through to closure
？ Reporting progress at regular intervals and format
？ Lead support for the Asia region while aligning and supporting globally
？ Identification, planning, and implementation of tools and processes to increase global
engineering efficiency and quality
？ Support global licensing strategy for most efficient use and productivity
？ Interface with Engineering, IT, PM, Quality, and Plants to determine best use cases and
optimization for our various tools
？ Launch new tools, conduct training, mentor, and oversee all aspects of new tool
implementation
？ Preparation, development and release of related process documentation
？ Ensure tools support new initiatives such as Automotive SPICE and ISO26262
？ Engage with the development, training and implementation of new processes required
for SPICE and ISO26262
？ Coordinate, facilitate and support assessment to quality standards, SPICE, ISO, etc.
？ Lead interface coordinating external or customer assessments related to Automotive
SPICE
？ Perform quality assurance activities on electronics product(s) based on Automotive
SPICE

？ Assist quality and engineering on specific issues, resolutions, planning, plant interfacing, 8D reviews, audits of test programs and test methodologies, plant key process measurable analysis, and overall continuous improvement activities
？ Other tasks as required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
？ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality or related field
？ Automotive industry product development, software or quality experience desired
？ Experience with SPICE (process improvement) implementation desired
？ Experience leading SPICE (process improvement) or other audits desired
？ Experience with production related quality issue handling, resolution, 8D analysis, etc. desired

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to draft, read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents, including complex patent applications. Ability to write speeches and articles and the ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to large groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with complex mechanical, electrical and chemical mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts in drafting of patent applications and related documentation.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
