The Role:
CapitalVue is looking for bright Web Application Developers. You will implement the user interfaces for our web based platform. We would like to improve our interface, usability, and make our application more users friendly and attractive as we add features. You should be able to debug and maintain web products in a variety of environments, including cross-domain and cross-browser implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Key participant throughout the entire R&D.
- Page development using XHTML 1.1, HTML5, and CSS, with deep understanding of the MVC model, and the browser event life cycle across today's common browsers.
- Web development and collaboration with interaction architects, designers, and other web engineers.
- Client side web programming with passion for accessibility, performance, elegance, and cross- browser compatibility.
- Development of premium content web products that marry rich content, analytics with a secure, standards based, high performing end user experience developing a high-performance scalable web application.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in computer-related discipline.
- Solid software development experience, especially in Web application development.
- At least 3 years practical experience in Linux / Apache / PostgreSQL or similar environment
- At least 5 years hands on experience in using PHP, Javascript, Java, Flash, XHTML, XML, C++, SQL, DHTML, AJAX, CSS, XSL
- Experience in Microsoft Visual C++ programming is a plus
- Experiences on requirement study and problem solving.
- Experience in designing high-performance scalable distributed systems a plus
- Hands on experience in Linux system administrator, shell scripting, system performance tuning is a plus
- Strong grasp of user experience issues
- Strong grasp of user interface (UI) design
- Team player, self-driven, and can work under pressure
- Proficient in written English and Chinese
- Spoken mandarin is a must
- Worked in a fast paced agile environment with continuous integration, unit/ integration/load/performance testing.
- Schema, content and domain modeling.
- Ability in reading and writing English documentation
- Enjoy working in small team fast pace environment
- Work in a small team, technology startup environment
