Position
Member of the Shanghai office’s Quality team, the Quality Assurance Support (QAS) is directly managed by the Asia Quality Manager (AQM). He/She is in direct relation with QAs, QCs, Sourcing team, third-party companies (labs, inspection partners), suppliers, etc. On top of this, he/she is also in contact with Product Quality Managers from MGTS office in France.

Main missions
The QAS main mission is to support and to improve the Quality system of MGTS; the first step is to be trained so as to understand Quality Assurance job in details, assist QA on their daily missions before taking more responsibilities and lead some operations: Quality audits, on-site inspections, products qualification and homologation, non-conformities treatment, shipment validations, etc.

QAS works transversally over the whole range of products: Comfort, Tools, Parts, Mobility, Tires, EE, etc.

In detail: Job duties
MISSIONS RELATED TO SUPPLIERS
? The QAS must follow-up the Corrective Action Plans related to suppliers (mainly audits and process CAPs), and make sure that all actions are correctly put into place. He/She reports about corresponding improvements.
? QAS helps to fill-in Navision Supplier (MGTS ERP) and to keep it up-to-date.
? QAS makes sure that things “move on” by helping QA to push suppliers.
? QAS can be assigned to accompany a QA to perform a Quality Audit on site.
? Once familiar with MGTS Quality process and suppliers qualification system, QAS can start to perform Quality Audits by himself/herself.

MISSIONS RELATED TO PRODUCTS
? The QAS has collect the product samples needed for different purposes: new projects, CC testing, etc. He/She makes sure to:
- receive the requested samples on time.
- track them precisely (according to MGTS samples tracking system).
- organize efficient samples sending to Europe / to labs, with the help of MGTS Admin Assistants.
? QAS must follow-up the Corrective Action Plans related to products (mainly inspections CAPs), and make sure that all actions are correctly put into place. He/She reports about corresponding improvements.
? QAS helps:
- QA to monitor the CC tests follow-up (together with Logistics Supervisors).
- to update and improve the QCFs.
- to arrange on-line or pre-shipment inspections.
- to fill-in the Inspections Recap (database) after Inspection Report validations.
- to upload / move / update product folders on the local server and/or on the BOX (external data server).
? Once familiar with MGTS Quality process and products qualification system, QAS can start to lead sensitive operations: on-site inspections, sample picking, IRE validations, Non-Conformity follow-up, etc.
? Once qualified enough, QAS can act as QC backup during peak seasons.

MISSIONS RELATED TO EXTERNAL SERVICES

? The QAS understands MGTS testing needs and helps QA to prepare lab Application Forms.
? Together with QA, QAS analyzes testing results and prepares extra testing or re-testing.
? QAS manages the product samples for Quality purposes: he/she sends them in due time to the lab, organizes their recovery when needed, etc.

MISSIONS RELATED TO GENERAL QUALITY ASSURANCE
? The QAS gets trained and performs missions so as to get quickly familiar with all parts of the QA position.
? QAS first helps as lab assistant. Once qualified enough, he/she can start to perform some products testing and write MGTS protocols.
? Once qualified enough, QAS can act as complete QA backup whenever a QA is on a long business trip.

School diploma and previous experience
Associate /Bachelor degree (or above) compulsory.
Technical educational background.
