Responsibility:
Lead Regional Compliance activities:
1.Closely work with regional VP/GM and functional leaders to deploy and implement the Global Compliance Program initiatives;
2.Sit in the regional VP/GM’s staff meeting or the regional OPS review meeting to be updated of the regional operation and provide compliance advice to the regional team;
3.Perform risk assessment on an annual basis and analyze compliance risks and provide risk remediation solutions;
4.Act as focal point for the business in the region as it relates to the compliance program. Closely work with the regional communication team to ensure the effective and regular communication of the Integrity value is achieved.
5.Identify the communication opportunities to present the compliance topics in the regional town-hall meeting, Suppliers Conference or functional meetings;
6.Lead the investigation activities and work with internal resources and external resources to investigate the case and provide updates to the regional and global leadership team.
7.Collaborate with stakeholders in the region in identifying barriers to compliance implementation and assist in removing barriers to ensure program implementation success.
8.Coordinate Integrity and Compliance training logistics. This includes deployment and management of e-learning and face-to-face trainings and workshops.
9.Closely work with the reginal HR and L&D to drive the completion of all e-learning modules and assessments assigned to compliance program target audience employees.
10.Lead and ensure the remediation actions are executed in a timely manner. Work with and provide support to functional leaders to ensure remediation plans are achieved.
Lead Global Compliance initiatives:
1.Lead and drive some Compliance Program initiatives from Global HQ for the entire organization. The Global initiatives may include training, communication, policy development, etc..
2.Work with the Global functional leaders to plan and execute the compliance activities from a Global perspective.
3.Collaborate with other compliance program team members in identifying and implementing best practice sharing activities.
Appropriately store and record the Compliance Program related evidence, training tracking, Legal due diligence investigation results, and other data storage requirements as needed.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor or above Degree in Legal or Finance or Business related field of study
2. 6-8 years related working experience
3. Previous experience in either Compliance, Legal, Internal Control or Internal Audit areas.
4. Bar holder is a plus.
5. Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus.
6. Experience in heading the Asia Pacific region in the previous role is a plus.
7. Multi-lingual with excellent fluency in English and Chinese.
8. Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, communication and leadership skills.
9. Must be able to present to and communicate with all levels in the Company.
10. Capable of influencing others and facilitating change management.
11. Proficient in Microsoft office.
12. May require up to 20% overnight travel
