Essential Functions:

Researching and analyzing the Chinese and Taiwanese light vehicle sales market and representing this scope of knowledge to clients in forecasts, custom reports and intelligence briefings.
Using specialized knowledge of the automotive market in the region and to enrich the IHS Automotive databases.
Provide commentary with analysis and rationale supporting vehicle forecasts.
Networking with key contacts in the Chinese automotive market to validate data and exchange intelligence.
Ensure that all services for which responsibility is held are produced and maintained at highest quality levels and consistently delivered on timely basis
Providing analytical support to clients both face to face and by phone.
Presenting to Client Briefings, Executive Briefings and similar gatherings the latest intelligence to aid clients in key decision making.
Supporting the sales and marketing efforts of the organization.

Position Requirements – Mandatory:
A minimum of a bachelors degree, preferably in economics, business, or equivalent in industry related experience
At least four years deep experience within the automotive market space with a solid understanding of the local automotive industry.
Fluency in English – written and spoken at a business level. Second language recommended.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office to include expertise on Excel, fluency with Word and well practiced in PowerPoint.
Above average communication skills to include writing, interpersonal and listening as well as presentation skills gained with large and small audiences.
Organizational skills that demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks and to effectively prioritize under pressure towards tight deadlines.
Strong analysis skills and the ability to assess and interpret information.
Flexibility and the ability to creatively problem solve.
Strong database manipulation skills and high degree of proficiency in MS Office.
