General Role Information
Title:

Accounting Manager
Responsible For:
This position will assist Accounting Manager in processing the day to day accounting matters for AmTrust entities in China.

Key Responsibilities
? Review expenses report according to the company’s expense policy and relative tax requirement, communicate with reporters with any exceptions and un-compliant items. Maintain statistics of expense by category for analysis
? Prepare web bank payment list according to approved payment request and expense report, load to bank system for further approval
? Prepare accounting voucher of expenses report, either paid voucher or accrual voucher
? Liaise with bank on daily operations, visit banks on regular basis and
? Prepare foreign currency exchange documents according to bank’s requirement
? Monitor the bank-in records and maintain the collection record in AR function in core business system, investigate any discrepancy, monitor the replication of the AR records between core business system and finance system (Oracle), prepare AR aging report.
? Monitor the payment requests and bank-out records and maintain the payment record in AP function in core business system, monitor the replication of the AP records between core business system and finance system,
? Prepare standard subordinate reports, e.g. AR aging report
? Complete the monthly tax filing and liaise with tax officer with daily operation
? Ad hoc duties as defined by line manager

Skills & Attributes

? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
? Analytical and numerical skills
? Knowledge of standard expenses policy, segregation of duty, authority governance, etc.
? Knowledge of receivables/payable and offsetting, reconciliation
? Understanding of general ledger
? Ability to prepare voucher
? Basic understanding of financial statements
? Accuracy and attention to detail
? Ability to priorities workloads to meet Service Level Agreements
? Ability to work as part of a team/be flexible

Qualifications & Experience
? Bachelor’s degree
? Three to four years accounting work experience in multinational companies
? Knowledge of accounting systems is a must
