Key Areas of Responsibility：
主要工作职责
Packaging project control:
? Plan packaging projects and complete them correctly and in time according to the procedure.
? Manage the engineers to design die-cut/artwork according to requests from customer. Review their output and send to customer for confirmation
? Make sure packaging design is correct before release to production (especially for artwork/documents)
? Give clear instructions to suppliers and MPDL to issue documents to related factory/department.
? Apply lamp/component 12NC and EAN from MPDL according to NLO PMs, and retrieve existing 12NC when PM asks for help. Give PM correct information of packaging data to apply in their order book.
? Set up and update packing project overview for PM’s status update and escalation, hold regular meetings with PMs and related parties to drive project progress.
? Communicate with related factory/department on packaging issues and follow-up on improvement actions. Ensure they understand well about packaging modifications or new developments. Review new designs with them such that these can be applied in production.

Packaging supply management:
? Follow up package phase-in and out plan to make sure smooth procedure for changeover/write-off.
? Train new lamp suppliers: Support technical engineers to give related training for new lamp suppliers.
? Visit suppliers regularly to better understand and solve their problems, drive for continuous improvements.

Packaging structure design:
? To create packaging for Philips products, with a main focus on Lighting
? To think of new ways to pack Philips products and turn these into reality
? To make packaging drawings and other related documentation and instructions
? To do packaging release tests to ensure the designed packaging can meet all requirements and document the test results for future reference.
? To cooperate with product marketing teams, project coordinators and artwork designers to ensure packaging creation is first time right, meeting customers’ expectation and on-time.
? To support printers and packaging suppliers: Collaborate closely in day-to-day work with printers for technical support, on-site audits and improvements.
? To support manufacturing sites. Collaborate closely to ensure that requirements and way of working are understood and that the total packaging process meets all targets.
? To drive continuous cost reduction and quality improvements
? To keep close contact with my colleagues in PCC, supply chain and commodity team and drive structured problem solving and improvement actions when required.
? To represent the Philips Packaging Commodity externally.

? Education学历 Bachelor of Packaging, Material related
? Experience工作经验 5 years + packaging development role in international companies

Competency and Skills

- At least 5 years experience with technical background (packaging/mechanical design)
- Basic knowledge of packing material
- Knowledge / experience in Program/Product management / Data management is preferred
