职位描述：
We are looking for a senior Database developer with strong analytic and technical skills with experience in Oracle 11G to be a core part of the Equity Derivatives Data Fabric (A51) group in Shanghai. As a key part of the global Equity Risk technology team, you will have a large role in one of the key strategic technical projects within Equities and Security Services Technology (ESST).
 
The Equity Risk technology platform is undergoing significant investment and growth, and a foundational aspect of this the creation of a best-in-class Data Fabric to support the next generation Risk platform. A key initiative within our next generation architecture build is moving the current C++ / Oracle based Data platform to a cloud-native JVM based platform leveraging contemporary NoSQL storage.
 
This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to define themselves as a core contributor to the Equities investment strategy and set themselves up for a long and successful career at Citi. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team, building out of the new platform and have responsibilities around the management and visualisation of data. Understanding and analysing data will be a hugely beneficial skill.
 
The candidate will be required to work with front office quants as well as multiple technology teams across the Equities organisation to ensure the platform is adopted and utilised correctly.
 
Key Responsibilities:
? Hands on Oracle Database expert with strong SQL and Database optimisation skills
? Work proactively and independently to address requirements, articulate issues / challenges to mitigate project risk
? Full involvement in the Software Development Lifecycle
? Build and deploy applications on Linux platforms
? Ensure Citi Markets and Security Services Technology Development Standards are being met.
? Drive adoption of recommended common development tools within CCET Area51 team.
Essential Skills
? Experience with Oracle development including stored procedures, triggers, partitions, optimisation techniques
? Strong skills with DML commands
? Demonstrable experience of applying TDD and BDD development practices
? Experience of large scale / data warehouse solutions
 
Desirable Skills
? Experience with Confluence, JIRA, GIT and/or Bitbucket
? Experience of HBase / Big Data Platforms
? Experience of working in a Front Office environment / Financial Instruments
? Experience of Python / Scripting
? Distributed Application Development
