Job Description
Capillary Technologies China is seeking a well-qualified and experienced Analytics Consultant. This candidate’s primary responsibility will be to participate in the consulting, data analysis and CRM & Loyalty Program Design of leading apparel and fashion retailers and restaurants.
You should have a combination of deep experience with SAS / R / SQL, with experience with databases and data-driven decision-making, and a background of working successfully in small innovative, and analytics-driven teams.

? Language: The candidate should be Bi-Lingual, and be able to communicate (Oral & Written) in both English and Chinese.
The key responsibilities for the position include:
? Help define the problem along with our clients, account managers and service delivery teams. Communicate with the client on the approach, solution and insights generated
? Subscribe to “Own the analytics engagement” philosophy with a clear focus on achieving the end-objective, and work with multiple stakeholders to ensure program success
 ? Championing the analytics needs of business by analyzing data from multiple sources including Capillary CRM data & the external data from the clients
 ? As required, mentor/provide guidance to a team of Business Analysts and Data Specialists
 ? Determine the approach – including exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, descriptive dashboards and technology solutions to solve problems
? Seek state-of-the-art approaches and practices of Data analytics/ Consultancy within and outside Capillary. Creates consensus around new ideas and initiatives on a business solution
 ? Collate the data into coherent and logical structures to produce periodic as well as one-off analyses to aid the decision makers.
? Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) on customer objectives
 ? Work with cross-functional external and internal teams – to recommend, design and measure impact-generating programs and campaigns.
? Run analytics programs across Offline Stores & Online Stores (Own.Com) as well as 3rd party eCommerce platforms like TMALL, JD and TaoBao.
Mandatory Skills/Required Experience:
? Candidates with 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in Business consultancy ? Excellent communication skills, including ability to discuss complex analytical concepts with business users and to present data that has been optimized for consumption
? Prior experience in data analytic tools & delivering presentations to the client
? Exposure in handling Clients in China: Should be Bi-lingual (English & Chinese), with complete Oral & Written Fleuency
? Expertize in MS Excel is must and knowledge on one data analysis platform : SAS / R / SQL is a plus
? Resourceful and energetic executor capable of taking on a task and driving it to completion
? Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, in a forward-thinking space like Retail/eCommerce with a constant focus on evolving technologies and impact
? Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
? Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
? A sound understanding of Digital Marketing ecosystem – and sensitivity towards mobile technology and platforms will be an added advantage.
? Self-motivated, Inquisitive and curious, Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, ambitious, and strong ability to follow-through on commitments
