Major Responsibilities

• Create technical design specifications based on system requirements.
• Convert design specifications into high quality working code within allocated time frame.
• Perform unit and system integration testing, resolve bugs and errors identified during all testing phases.
• Fully capable of using the Tyco Safety Products software development, process and design tools.
• Reverse engineers existing software modules easily to understand purpose and identify problems.

Minimum Qualification:

• Strong .NET and C#programming and debugging skills
• Strong preference with experience developing access control and video surveillance products.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, object oriented.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly.
• Experience on XML is a preference.
• Familiar with both PC and embedded design is a plus.
• Familiar with both Windows and Linux based design is a plus.
• Familiar with UML is a plus.
• Good English communication, both verbal and written.

Education & Experience:

• BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ yearswork experience on software development.
