Job Description: GMIO Treasury Center, as part of the GM Treasurer’s office, offers a broad array of experiences in Corporate Finance and Treasury Operations through its rotational program and is anchored on the model of building (1) Finance & Leadership skills, (2) Making an Impact on GM business and facilitating (3) Career Progression

The GMIO Treasury Center provides unique rotational opportunities to cover business units in diverse international regions including: Africa/Middle East, ASEAN, Australia, China, India and Korea. Analysts will gain a broad skillset performing various corporate treasury functions (e.g., cash flow forecasting and reporting, counterparty risk management and FX trading). Executive Management at different GM Units looks to the Treasurer’s office to provide critical thinking, rigorous analyses and recommendations; as such, the Treasurer’s office is considered a training ground for future GM leaders.

Responsibilities can include:
  Core Treasury Operations
- FX trades
- Cash investments and bank guarantee / letter of credit issuance
- Cash positioning and short-term funding

  Cash Flow Forecast
- Monthly cash flow forecasting and consolidation for GMIO region; perform various analysis
- Identify and execute cash flow improvement initiatives

 Counterparty Exposure
- Advise business units on counterparty credit risk management
- Manage counterparty exposure reporting process

 Bank Relationships
- Track and manage GMIO entities’ bank accounts and bank workstation access
- Support annual bank account/portal validation process

 Treasury Transformation
- Support implementation of global treasury model and Wall Street Treasury System rollout
