Job Description:
The associate must assist foreign clients and their local staff in all aspects of the clients' business(as Chinese law permits) including:
- Corporate establishment and expansion
- Labor relations and disputes(including working with PRC law firms on dispute resolution)
- Corporate and regulatory compliance
- Tax
- Intellectual Property protection
- Negotiating with third parties on behalf of the client
The associate must keep daily timesheets and attend regular seminars to understand and communicate changes in the law. Associate should be capable of managing small and medium-size transaction without supervision.
Job requirements
- LLM from a reputable law school
- Excellent research skills
- PRC bar qualification
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience(at least 3 years working with foreign clients at an international law firm)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Positive attitude and attention to details

Currently, it has an opening for a PRC qualified associate with 5 to 8 years experience to manage US clients' work including corporate, M&A, commercial transactions and labor law. Familiarity with the automotive industry and US JD or LLM is a plus.
