职位描述：
Logistics Plus (LP) is a 4PL service provider for GE Measurement & Control (M&C) since 2009. LP’s engagement with GE M&C has enabled the business’ global strategy, reduced cost and driven the best practices across a complex global network of manufacturing facilities, service centers, sales and distribution locations. The logistics team is organized to deliver a global, integrated supply chain management solution and supports the business with value added services to drive improved performance and control.

Job:
Logistics Execution and Optimization
? Streamlines carriers/services used globally
? Monitors corporate carrier for best pricing/service
? Implements “Key lanes” globally
? Provides Daily operational support (LEC)
? Identifies and executes cost out opportunities
? Assists in Project Execution and tracks shipment

 Reporting
? Gathers 100% transportation data for better logistics decision-making
? Quantifies, validates and monitors Logistics and ITC savings (forecasts, actuals, by lane, by site, by P&L)
? Owns DS/DTS Logistics ITC Savings Project Deck

 Transportation Quoting
? Provides pricing for any type shipment globally: sales, projects, TOW, returns and purchases
? Ensures GE Corporate pricing
? Negotiates best pricing with carriers

 Carrier Management
? Responds to carrier inquiries regarding GE DS/DTS business, taking burden off sites
? Ensures that local agreements are reported to GE Corporate for the benefit of all GE
? Monitors carriers’ SLA
