The international creative agency, Hangar Design Group is searching for a motivated business development manager to join its team in Shanghai.

Position vacancy: immediately available

Job Description:
The desired candidate will build relationships with prospective clients and business partners to develop the company's business opportunities contributing to raising sales and develop the company's image.

General Responsibilities:
1. Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
2. Cold call to relevant potential businesses and companies inside and outside resources of contacts to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
3. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the network of the company.
4. Attend fairs, events and exhibitions of related business fields to make potential connections, introduce the company and meet with potential clients or business contacts, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
5. Arranging business meetings with prospective clients, especially, identify decision makers and practice leaders of client’s companies.
6. Plan approaches and pitches.
7. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
8. Participate in quotation with the strategy director.
9. Negotiate the quotation/business proposal with the client for a positive agreement.
10. Present new services and enhance existing relationships to address to clients’ new needs and requests.
11. Farm out on current and existing contacts to convert to new business contracts and collaborations.
12. Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
13. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique propositions and differentiators.
14. Submit weekly progress reports of new business development.
15. Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
16. Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
17. Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.
18. Support the account team in solving issues and problems throughout new business activation and implementation.

Requirements:
1. Well-developed communication skills in English and Mandarin, written and spoken.
2. Previous strong business development experience and track record with other creative and advertising agencies a huge plus.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
5. Creative instinct, able to come up with catchy ideas to hook audiences.
6. Passionate about the quickly-evolving design and branding environment.
7. In-depth knowledge of the creative/branding/advertising industry and its current events.
8. The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
9. Attention to detail.
10. Excellent time management and organization.

5. 安排会见潜在客户,特别结识是客户公司内部的决策者和实际领导者
6. 接洽,策划和安排比稿
7. 与公司团队合作制定符合客户需求,关注和目标的提案
8. 与战略总监共同策划报价方案
9. 与客户协商报价/业务提案以促进达成协议
10. 呈现公司最新的服务并维护现有客户关系,以满足客户新的需求
11. 对公司现有客户进行开发并转化为新业务和合作
12. 组织并参与对内与对外的设计项目简报
13. 了解市场和竞争对手,识别并强化公司独特的主题和差异性
14. 提交业务拓展的每周进度报告
15. 跟踪并记录业务开发活动,推动业务的完成以实现这些目标
16. 研究并深入了解公司的员工和实力
17. 了解公司的目标和宗旨,从而促进提升公司的长期业绩表现
18. 帮助公司内部团队解决在新业务开发和实施过程中的问题

1. 良好的英语和普通话沟通能力,包括书面语和口语
2. 丰富的创意和广告公司业务拓展经验和良好的业务记录
3. 优秀的人际交往能力
4. 在快节奏和压力的工作环境下能够游刃有余的妥善管理多项任务
5. 具有创新精神,能够提出吸引客户的理论概念
6. 热衷于快速发展的设计和品牌公司的工作环境
7. 深入了解创意/品牌/广告行业及行业最新动态
