Laws & Standard Specialist

IKEA IMS has expanded over the years and we have some exciting years to come! With the growth agenda for IKEA ahead of us we continuously develop our business and people. We are now looking for a Laws & Standard Specialist who wants to contribute to the development of IKEA IMS.
 
As a Laws & Standard Specialist you will be a part of creating a platform for sustainable growth in close co-operation with your colleagues within IMS and in networks within and outside IKEA. You will proactively identify and document relevant product standards & regulations within Asia Pacific Region, secure and communicate product standards & regulations to the Equipment Category and support projects in the business team during the product development process by providing guidance on how to fulfill product standards & regulations.
 
Is this the right challenge for you?
We are looking for a person with:
? University degree, preferably in engineering, and/or chemistry.
? Experience from laws and regulations.
? Ability to communicate with authorities worldwide and build trustful relationships.
? Fluency in spoken and written English.
? Ability to travel.

We believe that you have the desire to work in a simple, effective and understandable way based on our IKEA values. You have a great interest in laws and regulations, are self-motivated and eager to find new ways of working since you have a curious mind. This role require that you share and learn openly with others and take responsibility for your growth and development within the role.
