Position: Product Manager
Key Responsibilities
？ Search suppliers for export business. Dominate the negotiation with suppliers to reach the best technical and commercial terms for contracting.
？ Take the ownership of managing suppliers, and work closely with supplier on daily matters through digging deep into process, and push for the continuous improvement at suppliers.
？ Communicate with foreign customers through emails or telephone conference when necessary, to report or resolve issues related to products and projects.
？ Get to understand the RFQ data from customers and make sure supplier correctly understand the requirements too. Be aware of the cost structure of purchased-in products.
？ Be responsible for the progress of assigned projects, and keep projects going on track within scheduled time line, and keep the operation costs at reasonable level.
？ Report to Sourcing manager, through open dialogues regarding supplier selection & evaluation, project progress, financial cost and performance appraisal etc.
？ Work closely with QC department regarding supplier quality control and improvement, and take proper actions to keep quality defects & claims to the minimum.
？ Support supply chain department in resolving pop-up problems at deliveries, and take actions to solve delays and improve on-time delivery rate.
Requirements
Education:
？ University graduated with mechanical/electrical or relevant field
Working Experience:
？ Minimum five years experience in Engineering, manufacturing or sourcing related industry. Hands on experiences in sanitary field is preferred.
？ Experiences of working for foreign-invested companies would be a plus.
Knowledge & Skills:
？ Strong technical background and actual know-how in mechanical / electrical or related field
？ Understanding of the requirements of the ISO9000/14000 standard
？ Fluent in written English and more than average in oral English.
？ Average PC skills.
Other Requirements:
？ Honest, reliable and hardworking
？ Team player
？ Self-motivated and dedicated to work
？ Smooth in communications
？ Quick learner
？ Able to travels and work under pressure.
