Job description:
As a LED System Engineer you will work in a young and creative engineer team and be responsible for:
? Application scout of key automotive lighting innovations towards market trends
? Combine competence from different technical fields and create new concepts of automotive LED modules and systems
? Translate new concepts into value proposition
? Create LED module/system design accordingly based on solid understanding of LED components and illumination systems
? Verifying design through optical/mechanical/thermal/electrical simulations, prototyping and experimental characterizations
? Collaborate with external suppliers to investigate mass production feasibility of new system designs
? Cooperate with R&D team and leading customers to define LED module specifications with customer requirements
? Present new concepts and system solutions to internal stakeholders and external customers
Your profile:
? Master degree in electronics, optics, mechanics or physics
? Strong background in one of following fields: LED, COB (Chip-On-Board), optical, mechanical or thermal design, LED module development and manufacturing, overmolding/transform molding, reliability analysis and test of LED systems.
? Product design or application experience with mechanical, optical, thermal or electronic design
? Work experience in LED module, PCB assembly, lighting system development and manufacturing preferred
? Project management skills related to LED module or lighting system design and manufacturing
? Fluent in English, very good in both writing and speaking
? Good presentation and communication skills with strong focus at customers
? Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic work environment and to strive for solid results by collaboration with colleagues from different background
