ABOUT THE JOB：
IKEA Business Designer contribute to increase sales and sustained profitability by providing our business customers professional design and consultant service, ensure our customers an enjoyable, convenient buying experience. Support IKEA business Leader in following up customer’s feedback for improvement and experience accumulation, in order to maximize sales and long-term profitability. Has high passion and interest for home furnishing and deep knowledge of business customer, good selling and communication skill.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT：
?Customer/Business
Bring quality business furnishing solution by actively working with IKEA business customer
§I understand my local market, have knowledge and understanding of people’s needs and
   wants, specifically business customers and their business needs by doing research and
   customer analysis.
§I can provide business customers consultant and design service within functional, affordable,
   beautiful and sustainable solutions, based on being familiar with IKEA range.

Optimize sales and profitability through the successful communication of IKEA range reflecting our priorities to the business owners
§I provide the complete solution including furniture and furnishing. Proper planning based on
   relevant business range, top seller, 3A&1K, PCD.
§More flexible updating the planning due to the stock availability, PCD and customer change
   mind, etc.

Secure our customers an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience
§Actively co-operating with other functions and working closely together, sharing knowledge and respecting each other’s responsibilities.

Supporting CN IKEA Business success
§Follow up the customer’s feedback of solution for improvement and experience accumulation.
§Communicate with other store IB Designers to share the experience and good example.

A strong understanding of the IKEA Concept and specific to my role as an Designer
§Understand business customer’s life at work, life at home in the local market
§Home furnishing the IKEA way (style groups, furnish with light…)
§Understand life style, work style and design trend that influence furnishing business.
§Work method for co-operating with other functions.
§An ambassador of the IKEA Values
 
?Capability
§Excellent communication and active selling skill with business customer.
§Ability to combine and identify commercial, aesthetic and practical skills.
§High competence of home furnishing and public area design for business customer needs, such as office, education, hospitality, retail…etc.
§Self-starting, self-reliant and motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
§Agree goals that challenge me in order to meet or exceed business customers’ expectations and our business goals.
§Look for opportunities to make improvements.
§Ability to create a trustful and creative environment.
§Capability and interest in representing the IKEA organization externally and being an ambassador for the IKEA brand.
§Ability to read and understand written English and speak a basic level of English.
