Position Title: Steel Sales Engineer- North Area
Reports To: North Area Steel Sales Manager
Position Summary:
The Sales Engineer sells Bloom’s products and services using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to provide solutions to customers in how they can apply the products/services to meet their needs and enable Bloom to achieve its revenue growth and profit objectives.
In addition the Sales Engineer will provide input and participates in the strategic planning, marketing and technical development of Bloom products and services.
Essential Functions:
? Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain existing accounts to achieve company revenue growth and profit objectives with the focus on Chinese market.
? Collect customers, competitor and market information to maintain an up to date working knowledge of the industries served and the products and services to be provided.
? Make sales contacts, communicate Bloom’s products and service offerings, identify customer needs and develop applications of products and services in an effective manner with the focus on Chinese market.
? Follow up on all leads generated by various marketing efforts.
? Identify potential growth areas with the focus on steel, Aluminum and forge Chinese market.
? Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with customers.
? Communicate customer needs and technical requirements accurately and effectively to the Bloom organization.
? Develop and maintain effective communication with all levels of Bloom organization to coordinate efforts to respond to customer.
? Generate sales proposals that comply with established guidelines and pricing policies.
? Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner.
? Manage assigned sales budgets in a timely and effective manner.
? Participate field service as required.
? Provide timely and complete reports of activities and other administrative documents as required.
Position Requirement:
Education/Skills /Experience:
? Solid technical experience in thermal Equipment & Engineering in Metallic (Steel/ Aluminum) industry or an Combustion system experience is a plus
? Better to have education background come from Thermal engineering of Beijing science tech/ Northern east university (热能工程专业/北京科技大学或东北大学)
? 5 (above) years Sales working experiences in relative industry
? Interpersonal skills and networking Good sales and customer relation skills.
? basic spoken and good written English and Mandarin
? PC Skills.
Personality:
? Self motivated and Persistent.
? Result oriented and desire to succeed.
? Ability to Multi-task and coordinate multiple and often conflicting priorities.
? Details oriented.
Physical Requirements:
? Must able to meet the travel demands of the position, including making customer visits and sales calls 3 to 4 days a week as necessary.
? Must be able to periodically spend extensive time responding to customer needs, in an industrial environment that is hot, dirty noisy.
