职位描述
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage all aspects of purchasing, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, material flow, systems, and month-end materials reporting for a fast-paced manufacturing plant.
· Execute strategic plans to meet goals, including supplier consolidation, physical inventory elimination, on-time delivery performance, inventory turns and excess and obsolete reduction.
· Oversee customer order fulfillment.
· Develop improved planning, inventory management, and purchasing systems.
· Manage and coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments by ocean carriers
· Perform raw material inventory analysis
· Place purchase orders with vendors
· Continually review Materials performance metrics and ensure appropriate corrective action is implemented to drive improvement.
· Participate in MRP system upgrades and implementations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree.
· A minimum of 5 years experience in Materials in a high volume operation’s environment at Planner Buyer level.
· Experience in production planning, purchasing, inventory control, high volume manufacturing.
· Experience in Supply Chain Management
· Very good knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
· Previous experience with UFIDA ERP system
· Knowledge of spreadsheet, word-processing, and manufacturing-control software applications is required.
· Inventory Control & Production Control knowledge
· Experience in International purchasing, import/export, and China customs trading
· Good English language written and verbal skills.
· Demonstrated successful leadership, negotiation, and customer satisfaction skills.
· Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Supply Chain Management (APICS) certification
