Job Location:

The position-holder will be based in Shanghai, but with possiblity of travelling within China mainland and Oversea.



Professional Experience:
- Experience in automotive industry preferred:
- Around 4 years of practical experience in Industrial Engineering (IE)

- Previous Experience in consulting industry is preferred
- International experience will be a plus

Requirement:
- Knowledge of the Toyota Production System and Lean transformation

- Major in mechanical engineering or related discipline

- Familiar with methods like Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VA/VE), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Design and set-up of assembly/manufacturing cells, Quick Changeover (SMED)




MISSIONS:
Plan, design, setup, modify, optimize and monitor a manufacturing process.

Drive production processes to produce high quality manufactured parts efficiently in the most cost effective methods and are conscious of the environment and its protection.


Desired Soft Skills:
- Ability to communicate & influence client team to achieve results
- Great presentation skills both in English and in Chinese for maitain the professionality of KLB
- Positive & proactive attitude in trouble-shooting

Responsibilities:
- Analysis of production processes & different data provided by KLB clients
- Designs new systems and processes for the introduction of new products or for the improvement of existing ones
- Implementation of lean tools at the clients site

- Drives SMED action in production & Creates operational routines for manufacturing process
