The Pads Product Line Specialist-Greater China is responsible for leading promotional efforts for new pad products, supporting commercial pad products Go-to-Market efforts, providing technical guidance and support to the China/Taiwan regional Sales and Marketing teams in order to meet the business growth objectives.

The key responsibilities of the Pad Product Line Specialist-Greater China include the following:
China Pads Localization Project Management: 50%
? Lead efforts working closely with Pads Mission Team, Sales and Marketing personnel to execute China Pads Go-to-Market plan in conjunction with KFMI collaboration/ CMC pads localization marketing strategy
? Act as CMC primary contact to KFMI as overall program manager to ensure timely project execution
? Develop and execute comprehensive CMP pads and applications training plan for KFMI
? Lead internal efforts to address technical issues related to CMC and KFMI pads
Technical and Product Customer Support to Greater China/Taiwan Customers: 35%
? Work with sales and CMP Solutions Group(CSE/CTE) to provide technical recommendations and product solutions to win new business
? Enable successful customer and co-supplier evaluation of CMC pads by participating in the design and execution of internal and external customer demos, particularly for SMIC
? Work with Sales and Marketing to define the technical presentations related to the appropriate pad technology
? Work with KFMI and CMC customer facing teams to promote both commercial and new products for China customer/market business fulfillment
? Own potential Pads JDA project with strategic customers in Greater China/Taiwan region
External Collaboration with Industry CMP Consumables Suppliers (Slurry/Disc/Retaining Ring) – 15%
? Develop pad conditioning guidance and library on EPIC and NexPlanar Element and Ultra product lines working closely with Taiwan/China-based conditioning disc suppliers
? Develop CMC pad data packages with external slurry companies to address specific business needs and targeted opportunities
Position Requirements:
? Technical – CMP process technology experience is a must: experience with CMP polishing equipment & thin film metrology tools and ability to assess outputs: removal rates, WIWNU, planarization efficiency, defectivity, process run variability
? Business/Managerial – Management of customer relationships to facilitate the exchange of technical information. Initiative to obtain at least high level appreciation of business climates that affect our customers; accountability and integrity to manage projects
? Behavioral – Flexible and tolerant, with the ability to excel under an ambiguous, ever-changing climate. Ability to maintain commitment to the tasks at hand, with efficient planning, prioritizing and goal setting skills. In the course of CMP experimentation, the candidate will need to be able to make critical decisions with limited information and generate creative solutions to any product performance/process problems. Acute attention to detail is critical. The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to mentor others to help them better understand Pads and integration issues to improve their contribution to the team and leadership within CMC. Above all, the candidate’s goals must be aligned with a focus on customer requirements. Must be a strong team player, with outstanding communication skills.
? Mandarin Language skills are required for this position. Excellent English communication skills a Must
? Be able to travel to Taiwan, USA to support engagement activities with Global TSMC, UMC, and SMIC sites

Educational and Experience Requirements:
? Advanced degree in engineering or science
? More than 10 years of CMP experience in Semiconductor industry required
? Working experience in or with SMIC, TSMC, and UMC is highly preferred 举报 分享
