职位描述

General Purpose of the Position
Conduct vehicle simulations to provide vehicle Powertrain matching and FE/Performance prediction results to the Gas EMS engineering/business team for strategic business decision makings. Continue to develop core competence in the area to support China's long-term engineering growth.
Job Responsibilities
· Conduct vehicle system simulations to support internal/external customers' vehicle development needs in
o Vehicle fuel economy/performance predictions
o Powertrain matching analyses
o Actual engineering problems solving on a case-by-case basis
· Collect simulation required parameters through customer interfaces, tests, theoretical calculations/assumptions, or other information sources
· Create/calibrate vehicle models, conduct simulations, and validate simulation results
· Generate simulation reports and follow up each simulated project till program SOP
o Conduct thorough error analysis when any major discrepancy exists between simulated and test results
o Generate follow-up reports
· Enhance current standard analysis practices and tools to improve prediction fidelity and execution speed
o Study new functions of commercial vehicle simulation tools
o Improve simulation accuracy/efficiency through customized tools/macros
Position Preference
Education:
· Master's Degree in Vehicle Engineering or Internal Combustion Engine required, Ph. D preferred
Experience/Special Skills:
· Minimum 2 year's working experience in vehicle simulation
· Strong technical knowledge of vehicle engineering theories including detailed understanding of each vehicle system component, especially the engine and transmission subsystems
· Proficient with vehicle simulation tools Cruise and control tools such as MATLAB
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent language skills in oral and written English
