About you

You have great communication skill and you are able to coach/educate people at different levels. When working, you will have IKEA’s best interests as a priority. As you will interact with many different stakeholders on all levels of the organization, from management to end user, you need to be able to balance wide technical understanding with communication and presentation skills.
Structure and planning is your normal way of working where you have the capability to identify opportunities to improve the daily work. You are business minded and customer oriented in everything you do, with a high ability to drive change. An interest in new technologies and how they could improve customer and co-worker experiences will be of great value.

About the job

Operations & Shared Services is part of IKEA Business Solutions with the purpose to enable large development programs as well as fast, innovative, customer focused results and safeguard running business. Operational Quality Assurance is a team that supports IT services and IT infrastructure with Configuration Management and Quality Assurance capabilities.

The purpose with the Configuration management capability is to ensure connectivity across the IT organization within the IT infrastructure within different activities to secure quality. The purpose with the Quality Assurance capability is to create control of deployments in both test and production environment with a goal to minimize negative business impact caused by changes in the different environments.

About the Assignment

As Improvement Specialist you will be responsible for securing the quality of deployments into our different environments, follow up on process maturity, communicate requirements and assist change initiators within the deployment area. You will also be part of developing the Quality Gate function further.

Some of your tasks are to:

? Daily change deployment authorization
? Handle access and template requests
? Be part in established our deployment calendar
? Review and improve our current ways of working
? Maintain our policies and standards
? Be part in establishing our service offer
? Define, implement and follow up on quality measurements

This position is placed in Shanghai. Travels 3-4 times per year to Sweden are required. The selection process will take place continuously, so please send in your application as soon as you can – latest by March 16th, 2017.
