Purpose of the Role

La Bottega is looking for a Supply Chain manager for its Shanghai branch office.
The candidate will have to be able to coordinate production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and forecasting activities to improve accuracy, and safety on all our accounts. Examine existing procedures to meet product distribution needs. Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory. Moreover, the candidate will have to fulfill the above tasks using manual input data until the warehousing software will be implemented in the future.



Key Responsibilities
? Excellent use of Microsoft Excel to keep track of existing stocks and plan reorders to suppliers
? Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
? Monitor forecasts and study previous sales history to front the customer goods demand.
? Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
? Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
? Oversees the orders lead time with the supplier making sure they meet the requested delivery date.
? Being a motivated person willing to propose the best way to achieve the requested tasks.



Basic skills required
- fluent written/spoken english communication (MANDATORY!!)
- knowledge of written/spoken mandarin is a plus
- previous experience in the same field.
- Must be able to use microsoft Excel
