JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Customs Specialist primary responsibility is to create, maintain, and control the accuracy of the Customs Work Book. This must be completed in a timely manner for both internal and external purposes. You must be a dynamic and self-motivated person as this is a critical organizational role. This is a start-up operation at the company’s China Division as the company’s expanding its global product platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Experience of duty free material application, maintaining all the customhouse books;
? Work directly with costing accountant to maintain inventory and financial statement accuracy;
? Work with purchase, production and sales departments to make sure the tracking of the imported duty free materials is accurate; Responsible for all documents flow regarding customhouse books maintenance
? Monthly on-line filing of the duty free materials;
? Customhouse clearance for export;
? Assist customhouse on Commercial Examination(CE) on export goods;
? Dealing with the customhouse on the export goods return;
? Auditing customs entries to ensure proper harmonized tariff system classifications and import duties are declared for products Accounts receivable
? Checking of incoming invoices, billing, handling and solving accounting concerns
? Knowledge of AES filings and requirements, ISF customs brokerage, TSA, CTPAT and NVOCC regulations
? Handling of insurance coverage and claims with a familiarity of hazardous cargo and requirements/regulations
? Handling letter of credits, bank guarantees
EDUCATION/RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
? Minimum 3 years related experience in electronics industry or Customs Broker background; Experiences in US company is preferred;
? Certification of Customhouse Dealer and Commercial Examination Dealer;
? Good writing and speaking ability in ENGLISH & Mandarin
? Excellent communication skills – both internal and external
? Bachelor degree or above preferred
? Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite 举报 分享
