Position: Electronical Engineer
Waldmann is a global lighting manufacturer for various different industries such as: Automotive, Office Lighting, Machine Building, Aviation, Health, Laboratories, Electronics, Railways and many others.
We are trying to expand our scope of business, by introducing new products (made and engineered in China) to our existing product range. These products will be sold domestically and internationally.
In order to achieve this goal we are looking for a candidate with a specialization in electronical engineering for our factory in Shanghai/Baoshan.
Education:
- Bachelor Degree or above in electronical engineering related discipline(Major)
Professional Experience/Skills:
- Preferably 5 years of experience as an Engineer in new product development/product testing/troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing process and relevant technologies.
- Good at PCBA and electronic components fault finding and trouble shooting.
- Good at ballast & LED driver fault finding and trouble shooting
- Ability of PCBA design(LED Module).
- Proficient in one of the EDA softwares, such as Protel, Altium Designer, Viewlogic, PowerPCB(Pulsonix will be the best choice)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good team work spirit.
- Good communication with both internal and external parties, hands-on, and well-organized professional with strong business acumen.
- Can work under pressure independently, and willingness to travel.
Language Skills:
- Chinese (Mandarin) – Native Speaker
- English –Fluent
Organization:
- The Electronical Engineer will report to Engineering Department in Shanghai.
Tasks:
- Structure design of LED module for luminaire.
- Drawing export.
- Generation of the prototype of the new product & the design adjustment.
- Assist in sourcing for purchasing department.
- Confirmation of the samples.
- Generation of the product manual.
- Introduction process of the new product.
- Assist in the certification process (CCC/CE/UL/ETL) of our products.
- Assist the sales team to handle technical issues in projects and installations.
- Response to complains from customers and dealers. Define, evaluate, measure, analyze the root cause of the failures and supply the phone calls, E-mails, on-site service when needed.
- Other special requirements of the components and analyse the feasibility.
