The Position
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager- China, the Survey Programmer will take responsibility for the scripting of individual online projects ensuring that quotas and data are correctly set up, programmed and delivered free of errors. This position will also coordinate with internal teams, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively communicate with clients over the course of their projects.

The responsibilities of the position will include:

• Scripting surveys
• Communicating with the internal and external customers
• Discussing each project with the client
• Providing briefs to the client regarding project complexity and timing
• Testing surveys in collaboration with the project manager/client
• Help manage fieldwork in setting up and controlling quotas
• Setting up the real-time online reporting tools
• Manipulate stimuli material such as images, flash tools, video and sound files
• Analysis and if required, edit the collected data

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

• Knowledge of ConfirmIT preferable but not essential if you possess other programming skills
• Fluent Mandarin and good English skills
• Availability to work 11am - 7.30pm or 10am - 6.30pm
• Understanding of survey scripting (CATI, CAPI or CAWI)
• Good understanding of data delivery formats (SPSS or ASCII)
• Good standard of numeracy
• Knowledge and experience of MS Office tools
• Good time management skills
• Communication skills
• Team player
• Market research experience.
