Job purpose

Responsible for all activities related to customer services operation in China to support Japan business operation ensures a high standard of customer’s satisfaction is maintained.

Duties and responsibilities

Sales order management
? Prepare sales confirmation, send shipping schedule timely to both of customer and sales team.
? Communicate with counterparty regarding credit issue, shipping schedules and customer special needs.
? Follow-up on customer payments and communicate status with -Ingevity financial department
? Track order status and timely alert customer on delay.
? Provide service and solutions to order related issues.

Warehouse management
? Contact the forwarder / broker to complete the import and export
? Mange stock level at Japan warehouse per customer demand
? Manage 3PL warehouse, pass the inbound & outbound orders, make sure the orders are executed timely,
? Check the warehouse inventory accuracy, audit warehouse performance
? Prepare payment report include import transaction and 3PL cost
? Understand the relevant laws and regulations, to be fully compliant.

Complaint management
? Acknowledge customer complaints and enter in complaint system timely, collect information for root cause analysis
? Provide customer CAPA and get concession.

Business/sales support
? Arrange customer samples and follow up delivery.
? Maintain customer forecast in OMP
? Maintain customer relationship, visit customer per business needs or visit plan.

Continuous improvement
? Leverage with/learn from global CSR team member on order management, internal audit, improvement project, best practice and so on.
? Own and lead improvement opportunities and lead continuous improvement project
? Share knowledge with APAC CS team member on daily operation issue.
 

Qualifications

? Minimum of 5 Years working experience in customer service gained with multi-national companies.
? University graduate with business administration or international trade major is preferred
? Solid knowledge on international trading, L/C D/P process, chemical product DG cargo logistic
? At least 2-year experience with SAP order management and logistic execution experience is an advantage
? Sound skill on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
? Fluent Japanese and English both on speaking and writing. Korea or other Asian language is a considerable merit.
? Knowledge on supply chain management, 6 Sigma and project experience is preferred.
