POSITION SUMMARY:

This key position will be responsible for the execution of technical projects and commercialization of the mentioned applications. The role primarily supports the China Food Commercial organization through field technical service (customer food application trials, customer visits, presentations), customer technical service requests (TSR), preparing technical literature, develop technical selling tools for the commercial organization and participating with core R&D on the development of new beverage technology. The role will collaborate with the commercial team to identify product/application technology opportunities and is able to provide total solution for customer engagement. The role will involve regular interaction with other regional technical teams to drive knowledge transfer of the neutral dairy applications and technology between Asia Pacific and the rest of the FMC Health and Nutrition technology organization.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

？ Drive safety awareness and contribute to continuous improvement of safety,follow all safety rules and programs ensuring safety remains the first priority
？ Execute the Neutral Dairy/Beverage projects to achieve the technical successes in relevant applications
？ Understand and contribute to AP Managements business direction and annual company business targets
？ Build supportive and collaborative relationships through working closely with internal and external customers and partners to:
o Conduct quality experimental work in a timely manner in accordance with the agreed project objectives and timeline
o Demonstrate FMC technology in addressing unmet needs of customers/consumers, including highlighting possible limitations/problems as they become apparent
o Propose and develop new concepts/ideas for rolling out to customers
o Prepare and present technical presentations, project experimental plans, technology proposals and reports
o Train the commercial organization and customers on the technical benefits and value of FMC Health and Nutrition products and solutions
？ Support patent applications as appropriate including reading of related literature, conducting experiments and writing reports for inclusion in future patent applications

SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS

1) Strong background in R&D or production in Neutral Dairy/Beverage applications including liquid dairy (flavor milks, cereal / nut milk beverage) and plant protein systems etc

2) Strong knowledge of dairy/beverage processing equipments (e.g. UHT / retort/ homogenizer) and dairy/beverage science with 3-5 years of relevant working experience

3) Knowledge in food ingredients and product formulation experience is essential; prior experience at an Ingredient company or related industries would be desirable

4) MSc. degree in Food Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or other related disciplines

5) Strong problem solving and critical thinking, with good business acumen

6) Self motivated and team worker

7) Must be able to work independently on multiple projects and drive business results

8) Show capability in commercial-technical value selling with ability to communicate to clients on the key technical points and have the commercial selling concept

9) Strong trouble shooting skills with the ability to analyze the problem and adjust the approach accordingly

10) Strong report preparation / presentation skills

11) Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written).
