职位描述：
The IT Manager will be responsible for providing technical support to academic and non-academic departments, as well as the general maintenance of computer equipment, the resolution of technical problems and undertaking general tasks to promote the use of ICT and ensure the efficient running of computer systems and networks throughout the College.
 
The school depends on a robust IT service and it is the responsibility of the IT Manager to provide support to ensure continuity of network and service provision.Out of hours working may therefore be required.
 
The IT Manager will be able to communicate at all levels to maintain collaborative working relations across all departments.
 
Responsibilities
 ·Installing and testing new software and making available to appropriate users
·Setting up and maintaining user e-mail accounts
·Checking new computer equipment on arrival and installing as appropriate
·Performing basic PC hardware repairs and upgrades
·Maintaining computer peripheral equipment such as scanners, printers, whiteboards, projectors and ensuring that these are prepared and ready for use
· Liaising with external suppliers for the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance contract
·Carrying out routine network maintenance tasks
·Stock management, including continued auditing, WEEE recycling and purchase order completion
·First line helpdesk ticket assessment, resolution (if possible) and escalation
·Consumable stock procurement, monitoring and replacement
·Issuing and printing student ID cards
·First line printer maintenance/raising maintenance support requests
·Inspecting equipment and updating the ICT asset register
·Ad hoc dutiesas requested
·Complying with policies and procedures, including those relating to Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health and Safety, Welfare, Smoking in the Workplace, Security, Confidentiality and Data Protection, and reporting any concerns.
 
Desired Experience & Qualifications
 
·Bachelor’s Degree in Information System, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant field ,or relevent experience
·Be able to communicate in English
·Good time management skills, excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills
·Ability to demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving strategies
·In-depth knowledge of, and experience of working at senior level with, computer systems/networks and a wide range of software applications
·Proven ability to use own initiative
·Working knowledge of Capita software or other School Information Management System
·The ability to demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving strategies
·Be able to work independently
 ·At least 3 years of relevant experience. Previous experience working in a similar position in international or bilingual school is highly desired 举报 分享
