职位描述:

The Service Manager directs and coordinates activities of the Service and Applications department, including MRB, Technical Training, working with other department, HFOs and customers on technician issues, holding training classes for improving applications capability of HFO network, and performing special projects, such as tradeshow/demonstration support. Work effectively as part of a global team while being an integral part of the China team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and Analyze Service Target & Budget:

1. Responsible for service indicator refinement according to the service plan, and ensure full execution of HFO. Provide guidance and support of the evaluation procedure to HFO.


2. Responsible for P&L, budget and expense reporting/analyzing. Take a holistic approach to sales/production. Monitor and approve special permission of service.


3. Forecast and manage service parts. Submit forecasting reports of China service spare parts and work out the allocation scheme.


4. Research and analyze the failure rate of machine. Give constructive comments and solutions to decrease the faults rate of machine.


5. Make regular customer visit and investigate customer satisfaction.


6. Instruct HFO of training and communicating with customers.


7. Realize the Company Applications goals, track and improve the performance of all subordinates to meet the performance requirement of the Company, by checking, correcting, coaching, disciplining, etc.


8. Manage application support at Haas trade shows.


9. Inform HFO/customers of production new type, specifications and the uses. Answer questions raised by HFO/customers.


10. Feedback issue timely to HAI related department.


11. Interface with Financial department to analyze and evaluate the service overall impact, and provide constructive comments.


12. Interface with Sales Operations department to analyze and evaluate the service overall impact, and provide constructive comments.


13. Offer timely feedback to Marketing department and give suggestions.


Develop and Manage Service Policy:

1. Design and perfect service regulations, policies and training system for employees/HFO.


2. Design and implement related rules or procedures to manage and control service work of each HFO. Apperceive and forecast the risk of service channels, review and report, finally handle the problem.


3. Strictly follow and implement the rules of service parts market price and flow management from the company. Strictly implement the management policy for RR.


4. Implement global service evaluation policy and give regular feedback. Communicate with global service department directly.


5. Conduct regular statistical report and give feedback to related department.


Management of Service Network and Team-building:

1. Develop and distribute the construction of service network according to the service plan, to ensure the quality and quantity of the service network.


2. Encourage employees and HFO team to work in high spirits and with high efficiency.


3. Compare actual service performance with the target, analyze the difference and provide solutions. Assist HFO Service Managers to develop work plans and expand the business. Evaluate and encourage HFO Service Managers.


4. Manage and supervise internal & HFO team to ensure the quality and quantity of China service team. Propose suggestions or solutions.


5. Hold regular Service Manager meeting to ensure effective performance. Set up team spirit and so on.


6. Entirely take care of service work, organizing the analyzing activities concerning customer’s complaints and propose solutions. Statistic and analysis the situation and handle way of customer’s complaints. Give feedback to HAI quality control personnel and sales related persons.


7. Develop customer and machine profile. Conduct reports and key in ERP system accurately and timely.


8. Develop effective machine management plan and take actions. Keep communicating with HFO and customers.

MRB:

1. Responsible for the disposition of all returned/rejected parts;


2. Schedule and use resources to optimize and ensure accurate and speedy disposition of parts. Effectively communicate priorities and expectations to subordinates;

3. Prioritize and modify the direction of MRB when needed;


4. Identify trends and problems and provide accurate and pertinent reports related to parts in the field and informing the required local and OEM teams of findings;


5. Manage and act quickly to resolve any complaints in a timely and effective manner;


6. Constantly seek opportunities to find ways of testing and making part dispositions more accurate, effective and timely.

Training Area:

1. Manage the activities related to various technical training and educational programs for organization;


2. Manage staff of technical trainers. Leverage and follow OEMs training platforms;


3. Prepare reports for management;


4. Prepare and approve budgets and travel plans.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises employees in the areas of responsibility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


1. Strong communication and interpersonal skill.

2. Creative thinking. Have strong leadership and experience in developing and executing to goals with the capacity to delegate assignments, and manage resources. This function executes company-wide initiatives that affect operations;

3. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and possess strong internal and external customer verbal and written communication skills;

4. Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment. Willingly performs any non-specific job-related duties as requested;

5. Goal orientated with a strong delivery/milestone focus - hits deadlines despite obstacles.

6. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally;

7. Be familiar with company products, and understand the knowledge of optional name, category, description and production use.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor degree or above; plus minimum 10 years related experience in service/applications/operations, 5 years team management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

1. Fluent in English and Mandarin;

2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, safety rules, work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, financial reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations and legal documents in Chinese or English.

3. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

4. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format.
