职位描述：

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage all areas of manufacturing for all product lines in the factory including personnel requirements, production standards, safety programs, facilities and equipment, Quality and schedule attainment.

· Implement and support Lean Manufacturing, KANBAN, 5’S, Kaizen activities, and demand flow principles to achieve factory production goals.

· Execute strategic factory goals including: quality improvement, customer satisfaction achievement, inventory accuracy, supply-chain flexibility, lead-time, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

· Lead, motivate and develop the Rain Bird Shanghai factory team for the assigned product lines to maintain the practice of continuous improvement within a safe and positive work environment.

· Train, develop, and mentor all factory staff including leaders and workers on productivity, safety, teamwork, quality, cost reduction methods.

· Manage Production, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.

· Work as a true team player with the other Rain Bird Asia factory functional departments.

· Implement and execute plant wide safety programs and measure factory safety standards.

· Implement preventive maintenance programs for production equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in operations management or Engineering.

· 7 years hands-on production and assembly manufacturing experience.

· 4 years supervisory production and assembly manufacturing experience, preferably in high volume industry.

· Strong people management, technical, and communication skills.

· Experience in operations and/or management, including demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Lean Manufacturing, JIT, and Kanban.

· Knowledge of spreadsheet, word-processing, and manufacturing-control software applications.

· Fluent in English language with both strong written and verbal skills.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous Production Manager experience is preferred.

· Advanced degree in business or a technical discipline.

· Some previous P&L or budget responsibility preferred.

· Working knowledge of TQM tools and techniques preferred.

· Highly flexible and creative with the ability to succeed in a very dynamic environment.

· Experience with MRP planning and inventory management software (ERP).

· Knowledge of plastic injection molding and die casting process preferred.
