The Role: Full time.
Assume all finance related responsibilities for Imagination China, mainly on AP, employee reimbursement, closing and treasury.

Reports To: Head of China Finance

Direct Reports: None, but will be able to utilise admin support

Primary Location: Imagination Technologies Ltd Shanghai

Competencies:
Confident, able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, and from different backgrounds. Flexible attitude to working required. Ability to work on own and as part of a team.

Travel Requirements: Role will be largely office based. Occasional travel around China may be required.

Opportunity: Working as part of the global finance team, this broad role will include the following responsibilities:
-Oversee the vendor payments and employee reimbursement process (both cash and bank transfers)
-Monthly office expense forecast
-General accounting and month end closing
-Assist payroll process
-Liaising between Imagination China sales, UK/US finance teams and Chinese customers to support invoicing and payment of license fees, royalties and support and maintenance fees
-Supporting local regulatory agency requests in respect of Chinese customer trading relationships
-Provision of regular update reports to UK and US Finance teams

Skills: Required Skills:
-Good skill of communication
-Good skill of Microsoft Excel
-Fluent written and spoken English
-3-5 years’ relevant experience, experience of working for a foreign multinational corporation will be preferred
-Knowledge of the various Chinese tax rules / legislation
-Experience in dealing with Chinese government bodies related to taxation and international commerce

Working Environment: Working with 20+ other employees in the Shanghai office

Qualifications: BA in accounting and finance (or similar)
