Title: Sales Manager

Department(s): Sales & Marketing

Reports to: Director of Business Development - China

Job summary

Position requires candidate to serve two key roles within the Argosy Sales and Marketing Organization:

• Act in the capacity of Sales Manager for existing customers in the assigned territory
• Responsible for key Business Development/Sales activities in both the existing customer base as well as with new potential clients

Provide quality service to each customer through coordination of accurate quotations, sales orders and purchase orders. Maintain customer-supplier relationships by regular visits and performing the required duties.

Summary of essential job functions

1) Identify and build relevant contacts in each customer organization at all levels of engagement.

2) Act as primary interface between Customer and Customer Service organization.

3) Provides quality service to each customer by regular contact by telephone, e-mail and regular personal visits

5) Maintains and establishes good relationships with customers and vendors. Additionally, identifies potential new business opportunities with either new vendors or new customers.

6) Proactive with customers, seeking market intelligence and identifying competitor activity.

7) Support VP, Sales and Marketing with compilations of annual Sales Budget and Expense Budget.

8) Actively seek and solicit new opportunities to grow market share for products which are not widely distributed in the region.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year college or university (preferably in Aerospace Studies)

Previous work experience in the aerospace industry (particularly materials) a major plus

Abilities required

1) Strong computer skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, Windows XP, etc)

2) Very high level analytical skills

3) Extremely detail oriented and organized

4) Creative thinker with ability to solve problems on the go

5) Excellent written and spoken English

6) Excellent communication skills/outgoing personality

7) Good presentation skills

8) Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

9) Willing to learn, go getter.

10) Completes all assigned tasks without supervision, every time.
